Steve Brock – Director
Steve leads our glass and facades team and is based out of our Southend office.
Having worked for the business for 48 years, Steve started out as an apprentice for Campion Consultants (as Perega’s glass and facades division was known originally).
He is responsible for glass and facade engineering projects, involving the innovative design of elements such as building façades, curtain walling, balustrades and staircases. He works with leading glass suppliers to develop and test fire resistant glass floors and provides expert advice and technical investigations on a range of projects.
Steve’s work also involves architectural metalwork and designing bespoke components to interface with glass designs. One of Steve’s recent projects was the Shell HQ at Waterloo. This is a 27 storey tower where we have been designing replacements for the original timber framed windows. The original building, constructed in the early 1960s, was the tallest office building in London at the time.
