Robert Masson – Principal Civil Engineer

Robert joined Perega in November 2024 to lead the civil engineering team in our recently opened Waterloo office. He brings with him fifteen years’ experience in the construction industry and is currently working towards becoming chartered with the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Prior to working for Perega, Robert has gained wide-ranging experience from pre-planning to construction in the full civil engineering package of levels strategies, drainage proposals, hydraulic designs and modelling, road designs and has experience with water, highway and local and statutory authority agreements.

He has worked on an array of development schemes of varying sizes including low-level and high-rise residential projects and commercial buildings. Projects have included sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Robert is a former elected officer for the ICE on a graduates and students committee, volunteers for career fairs at local schools and universities and has a passion for training and mentoring graduate engineers.
