Qualified as both a chartered structural and civil engineer, Nick has vast experience from a 37-year career, spanning a wide range of sectors and project types. He is in high demand as an expert witness both in the UK and overseas.

Nick was the Global President of the Institution of Structural Engineers in 2014 and is currently a Visiting Professor at the Universities of Surrey and of East London, as well as being a member of the University of Surrey’s Industrial Advisory Board. Nick is the immediate past Chair of the Joint Board of Moderators, which accredits civil engineering degrees, and chairs the Institution of Structural Engineers’ Professional Practice Committee. Nick is also a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers, the Institution of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
