Joe Thornton – Senior Structural Engineer

Joe joined Perega’s Southend office 7 years ago as a technician engineer, whilst studying towards his degree. Following the opening of Perega’s Belfast office in 2017, Joe moved to Belfast to assist with the growth of the business and transferred his studies to Ulster University where he completed his degree.

Over the years, Joe has gained significant experience in curtain walling, cladding, structural glazing and steelwork, architectural metalwork and developing bespoke design solutions.

One of Joe’s notable projects was being the lead designer for the curtain walling and structural glazing for the £78m Moda, Holland Park development in Glasgow.
