Jake Parsell – Structural Engineer

Jake joined our Southend office back in 2018, having enrolled on to Perega’s apprenticeship scheme. He has recently achieved his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and to further complement his skill-set has now started studying towards a masters degree in facade engineering.

Since working for Perega, Jake has developed his knowledge of the industry by attending site meetings, sitting in on design meetings and running a variety of projects himself. This considerably helped towards his studies and has enabled him to build up notable experience in facades, glass design and specification, curtain walling systems, steel connections, rooflights and aluminium soffit panels.

Significant projects include the new entrance into One London Wall, where Jake undertook the lead design role for the supporting steel frame.
