Finn Neylon – Senior Structural Engineer

Finn is a chartered structural engineer and member of IStructE with ten years of experience, graduating from the University of Southampton in 2013 with a master’s degree in Civil Engineering, specifically specialising in structures. He spent one year working as a Design Engineer for a London based sub-contractor that specialises in the design and installation of post-tensioned concrete as well as carbon fibre remedial works.

Finn joined Perega as a structural engineer in 2015 and has extensive experience with projects across all sectors, particularly retail, residential, health care and education, designing in concrete, steel, timber and masonry. As well as structural design work, Finn also has an abundance of site experience, including attendance to many live construction sites, design team meetings and also undertakes structural survey work. Finn manages a team of Engineers and is a mentor to three others, while also running a company wide training programme to develop Perega’s younger staff towards chartership.

One of Finn’s recent projects was providing structural and civil input for the remodel and extension of a 5-storey Victorian building at Great George Street in Leeds, which was adapted from office space to create a luxury residential building.
