David has 35 years of experience in engineering, and joined Perega in 1996, bringing with him expertise gained from a varied background working for leading UK contractors, an engineering consultancy and a loss adjuster.

Much of his work has been carried out in the retail sector for high-profile stores including Primark, Selfridges and Starbucks. or in the heritage sector repurposing and renovating historic buildings for residential and leisure purposes.

He is a specialist in insurance and major loss work, carrying out investigations for clients including Bawtry Carbon and Smurfit Kappa, and loss adjusters such as Cunningham Lindsey and Crawford & Co. He also acts as an expert witness, usually involving investigations into building failures.
