Charles Rothnie – Senior Structural Engineer

Charles joined Perega in the August of 2021, and has 11 years of structural engineering experience, during which he has worked on a wide variety of projects for a broad range of clients. This has made him an adaptable and flexible engineer, with a strong grasp of modern structural design software and knowledge of a wide range of construction materials.

Since joining Perega, Charles has been involved with multiple notable projects, including the rebuild of Huws Gray in Stockport following a huge fire. He has a passion for sustainable design, and is a member of Perega’s Net Zero Carbon Group. More recently, Charles has achieved Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Structural Engineers.
