Barry Patrick – Associate

Barry heads up the Perega Belfast office and is responsible for developing the glass, facade and structural engineering side of the business in Northern Ireland. He has been with the company for 20 years, starting out in our Southend office before making the move in January 2015 to open the Belfast office.

Barry has wide experience in the structural design of glass, steel and aluminium across a wide range of sectors including leisure, residential, education, retail and transport.

Some of Barry’s most notable projects include the Computer Science Building at Belfast Queens University, Pearse Lyons Whiskey Distillery glass spire and visitors centre in Dublin and the boutique hotel The Mayson, Dublin, where he provided structural design calculations for the stunning glass and steel extension to the existing Victorian buildings.
