Thomasons appointed to work on £20m housing project for the London Borough of Sutton

Thomasons has been appointed to provide civil and structural engineering services on a new contract which will deliver 93 affordable new homes across three sites to the London Borough of Sutton, with a combined value of over £20 million.

It will work in partnership with construction firm Kind & Company, who secured the project through the London Construction Programme (LCP). The housing projects, located in Wallington, Beddington and Carshalton, all use brownfield land that will benefit from regeneration.

All three sites require demolition, clearance and enabling works prior to construction and it is anticipated that the homes, in a mix of houses and apartments, will be complete in 2018/9.
