Another prestigious award for Chantry Quarry, Guildford

We’re delighted to hear that Chantry Quarry – a project in which Thomasons played a key role – has added another award to its growing list of accolades.

The development of 12 luxurious homes by Latchmere Properties, in the dramatic setting of a former chalk quarry, has been recognised with a prestigious Guildford Design Award. Cllr Paul Spooner, lead councillor for planning and regeneration, congratulated the ‘skill and vision’ of the winners.

Thomasons was responsible for the on-site infrastructure and building design at Chantry Quarry, which brought the special challenges of working in a quarry location.

Last year Chantry Quarry scooped four awards at the International Property Awards for its architecture and interior design, as well as being named the Best Residential Development in Surrey.
