Thomasons’ staff take on the Thames Path Challenge
On Saturday 9th September five Thomasons’ staff from our Guildford and London offices took on the 50km Thames Path Challenge to raise money for our 2017 corporate charity, Dementia UK.
On the morning of the challenge Emma Read, Stuart Neal, Danuta Holloway, Ewa Ambrosius and Jenny Mayor laced up their trainers and set off from the starting line at Putney, walking the tough but beautiful route along the River Thames, all the way to Runnymede.
We’re proud to say that so far, we’ve surpassed our target in raising £1,684.00 for a brilliant cause; Dementia UK provides specialist dementia support for families through their Admiral Nurses. When things get challenging, their nurses work alongside families, giving them the support and practical solutions they need to face dementia with more confidence.
Donations are still more than welcome and you can support the charity by visiting our Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/teamthomasons
