Thomasons ranked top for Technical Excellence in NCE100 list

We are thrilled to be ranked number one in the Technical Excellence category of NCE100 – a list of the UK’s top 100 civil engineering firms – and to have achieved 14th place on the list overall.

NCE100 is a new list compiled by New Civil Engineer magazine which celebrates the UK’s best civil engineering companies. Companies are assessed against five key competencies: technical excellence; pushing technology; being diverse and a good place to work; developing skills for the future and playing a role in tackling global issues.

The robust selection process involved scoring each company against these competencies through an in-depth survey and an employee satisfaction survey. The top companies under each competency were then selected on the basis of feedback from a 30-strong judging panel of experts.

NCE100 also runs a series of awards and Thomasons again ranked highly as a finalist for the SME Award of the Year.

As a member of NCE100, Thomasons will participate over the next 12 months in a series of discussion and information sharing events with other firms, focused on best practice in the key competencies.
