Perega Promotes Senior Engineer Sam Coleman

Perega is pleased to announce the promotion of Sam Coleman from Senior Engineer to Associate.

Sam has been with the practice for seven years and this new position recognises his skill, hard work and talent. With 15 years’ experience, he combines an extensive knowledge of traditional and modern methods of construction to deliver engineering excellence on each and every project.

Highly collaborative and innovative in his approach, Sam is well versed in construction design and methods to ensure his client’s aspirations are met. Over his years at Perega, he has also become a healthcare sector specialist, particularly in alterations and assessments of existing building assets to support additional loading.

He has been involved in many of Perega’s most ambitious and prestigious projects to date, including Adidas’s award-winning flagship Oxford Street Store, and is currently over-seeing the new £10m energy centre as part of the wider redevelopment of Luton & Dunstable Hospital.

In his new position as an Associate, Sam will be responsible for the day-to-day management of his project team, ensuring work is delivered within agreed budgets and programmes, and to the highest quality. This includes providing technical support and mentoring to staff, as well as communicating with clients, other consultants and colleagues to ensure briefs are agreed and adhered to.

As part of this role, he will also be responsible for the implementation of business goals and strategy in support of the directors.

Commenting on his promotion, Sam says, “I’m looking forward to adding more value to Perega in my new position, as well as the opportunities for professional development it will afford. It’s been a pleasure working with the practice so far. I’m excited to take this next step.”
