Mark Goddard appointed Technical Director

We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Goddard, who returns to Perega after almost two decades to take up the role of Technical Director.

Mark brings a wealth of senior level experience from working in recent years with leading London-based engineering firms.

His most recent position was Technical Director at civil and structural engineering studio Parmarbrook, where he was responsible for overseeing several large-scale multi-million-pound developments across the UK.

Having joined us in February, Mark is based in the Guildford office but will also work alongside Directors Fraser Robb and Steve McSorley, from our London office, helping to grow our footprint in the capital and the wider portfolio of civil and structural work.

With a rich and varied career, Mark brings a multi-disciplinary, multi-sector approach to the organisation and a wealth of knowledge. Over the past 35 years, he’s worked on a wide array of challenging, often award-winning projects.

Highlights include 28-storey PBSA Aspire Point in Stratford, London, and Dudley House, a 22-storey residential tower combined with the innovative seven-storey Paddington Boys School. Not only that, he also has extensive experience in urban renewal, having undertaken regeneration projects in Hemel Hempstead (with Perega), Hinkley Town Centre, and award winning Erith Park, Dartford.

Commenting on the new role, Mark says, “It’s great to be back, and part of such a dynamic and innovative team of engineers. There are plenty of opportunities coming online in which Perega is perfectly positioned to provide unrivalled levels of authoritative consultancy. A key part of my job will be tapping into the rich seam of work set to come online over the next couple of years, whilst increasing the size and reach of our structural and civils capabilities. I’m really looking forward to working with the Perega team, and supporting future growth.”
