Hitting the heights at Thomasons’ & Clear Structures’ annual reception

On 15th January we welcomed more than 200 clients, colleagues and friends to enjoy Thomasons’ and Clear Structures’ annual drinks reception, and breathtaking 360° views across London, on the 29th floor of Westminster’s Millbank Tower.

The venue, once London’s tallest building, was especially apt as Thomasons Director Nick Russell worked on it as an engineering graduate early in his career.

Steve McSorley, Director at Thomasons London, highlighted to the guests Thomasons’ and Clear Structures’ successes in 2017, which was our landmark 70th anniversary year. It has been a strong 12 months for our business, including appointments to a series of important frameworks and a string of awards for projects we have worked on, including Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup and Pearse Lyons Distillery in Dublin.

We also appointed a new head of civil engineering, Xavier Martinez, to lead our fast-growing civil engineering business in our London, Leeds, Guildford and Birmingham offices.

As Thomasons embarks on the next 70 years – and longer! – we look forward to continuing our longstanding relationships with clients and developing new ones.
