Chris Ramsden becomes Perega’s newest Associate
Perega is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Ramsden as our newest Associate.
Previously a Senior Engineer at Perega, Chris has been with the firm for 15 years, joining as a Graduate Engineer in 2008. During that time, he has impressed colleagues and clients alike with his considerable skill, creativity, tireless work ethic and loyalty to the company.
With wide-ranging expertise, Chris has accrued a wealth of knowledge and experience over the course of his career to date, comfortable working on a variety of structures, be it a modern retail complex or the refurbishment of a listed building.
His considerable talent has seen him steadily rise through the ranks. He’s a highly respected member of the team, and this promotion recognises the esteem in which he is held throughout the business.
As an Associate, Chris will take on extra responsibilities, moving into a more strategic role. He will be responsible for the day-to-day management of his project team, ensuring work is delivered within agreed budgets and programmes, and to the highest quality.
This includes providing technical support and mentoring to staff, as well as becoming the primary point of communication with clients, other consultants and colleagues to ensure briefs are agreed and adhered to. He will also be responsible for the implementation of business goals and strategy in support of the directors.
Commenting on his promotion, Chris says, “I’ve been lucky to work on some really interesting and diverse projects over the last 15 years, with a great group of people, and I’ve always appreciated the support I’ve received from colleagues at all levels in the company. I’m looking forward to the challenge of the new position, and I hope to be able help other members of staff develop in the same way my colleagues have, and continue, to help me.
David Manion, Director, adds, “I remember when Chris started in 2008. His progression is the perfect example of how Perega supports its young engineers, recognising their ability and nurturing their skills as well as providing them with the opportunity to rise within the company. Chris has worked incredibly hard since he joined and this promotion is well-deserved. I look forward to working closely with him alongside our other talented Associates.”
