HR Administrator, Guildford or Leytonstone
Role
We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and driven part-time HR administrator who would like a new opportunity. You will be responsible for providing HR related administration for a range of tasks, including preparation of various written correspondence, minute taking, updating and maintaining the company’s online HR system, providing assistance with recruitment and the onboarding process of new staff, as well as duties covering remuneration and company benefits. You will work alongside our director in charge of HR and external HR advisor, to provide timely and professional support.
The role is to cover 20 hours per week, ideally over 5 days (4 hours per day).

Responsibilities of the role
HR Administration
- Assisting with recruiting and staffing, such as sitting in on interviews, taking interview notes, issuing job offers, contracts of employment, etc.
- Building and maintaining relationships with Recruitment Agencies
- Preparing various written HR correspondence
- Administering the company’s online HR system to keep documentation & records up to date
- Coordinating and leading of new employee onboarding in terms of welcome meeting, introductions and collating all HR elements of the induction process
- Managing & coordinating employee training provision
- Dealing with all internal HR administration issues/queries
- Providing minute taking support, where necessary
- Providing administrative support into various HR projects
- Managing the HR filing system within SharePoint
- Providing support where required to the HR team
Administrative Assistance to Remuneration & Benefits:
- Compiling monthly payroll changes
- Coordinating membership of the company’s pension scheme and monthly pension payments
- Coordinating membership of the company’s employee benefits schemes (i.e. private medical insurance, etc.), together with any claims arising, as applicable
- Providing administrative support to annual salary review and bonus letters
Key Skills
- Good inter-personal and organisational skills, with thoroughness and attention to detail
- Sensitivity in handling confidential issues
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good IT skills
- Proven track record in HR administration an advantage
- Able to work under pressure to deadlines
- Excellent team worker able to build relationships at all levels throughout the company
- Able to plan and organise own workload
- Has a flexible and can-do approach to work
Salary
£26,000 – £28,000 pro rata.
