Kingfisher Court mental health facility scoops a top award

We’re delighted that Kingfisher Court, a project in which Thomasons played a key role, has been named Project of the Year at the Design in Mental Health Awards. The award was presented to Osborne and P+HS Architects at the award ceremony in Birmingham on 19th May.

Kingfisher Court is a state-of-the-art mental health in-patient facility, built for the Hertfordshire Partnership NHS University Foundation Trust. The single storey building, completed in Autumn 2014, is notable for its contemporary, non-clinical and welcoming design.

Thomasons was appointed to manage the civil and structural engineering elements of the project, having successfully completed two earlier contracts on the site.
