Top marks for Thomasons with SUCCAG appointment

Thomasons has been appointed to Southern Universities Construction Consultancy Affinity Group’s (SUCCAG) framework, following a rigorous selection process.

A collaboration procurement initiative, SUCCAG represents several universities across the south of England, including Bournemouth University, Southampton Solent University, University of Portsmouth, University of Chichester and University of Winchester.

Thomasons will deliver structural and civil engineering services across a four-year framework which will oversee new build, refurbishment and renovation works across SUCCAG campuses.

Commenting on the appointment, Steve McSorley, Director at Thomasons says:  “We are delighted to be part of a team of expert construction consultants chosen to help SUCCAG members realise their development ambitions over the next half-decade. This appointment moves forward our plan for greater involvement in the higher education sector in order that it becomes one of our main sectors alongside residential, retail, healthcare and primary/secondary education.”

Thomasons has a proven track record within the higher education sector, having been involved in ambitious projects for Queen Mary University of London, London Metropolitan University, University of Surrey and York St. John University.
