Pret A Manger, Gatwick Airport

As part of our ongoing relationship with natural food chain Pret A Manger, Perega was commissioned to provide structural engineering services for its new outlet in the North Terminal at Gatwick Airport.

The design concept was to create a ‘floating’ raft structure to sit within the open area of the terminal, creating a unique and striking space for passengers.

Working closely with the designer and contractor, Perega designed structures that provided the required support, while being ‘lost’ amongst the features and freestanding walls thereby minimising visibility.
